I grew up in Northern NY and my dad (not from Alabama) used to make the white sauce in a large mason jar a few days before he was planning on using it. Then he would marinate chicken or pork before grilling it. He used the sauce to mop the meat while it cooked too.

Mandy I just recently found your channel and really enjoy it. I would, however, like to have your address do I can send your husband an English grammar book. He must be very intelligent but he comes off as being uneducated. Tell him it isn’t cute.

I like diy sasonings and sauces but I feel it’s cheaper to get a bottle of $3ish sauce that I love and use with anything chicken or fries and it doesn’t have high fructose like most bbq sauces. My kids think I am addicted to it 😂 I didn’t think that Big Mac sauce would be close. It’s like a pickle relish, ketchup and mayo sauce. I wondered about the Alabama sauce. I haven’t tried it.

I love yum yum sauce, Chick-fil-A sauce and white sauce!! Here where i live the white sauce is thicker and more pepper and i use it to dip my chicken tenders in it. Looked like fun making the different sauces!!! Thank you for letting us into your lives ❣️❤️😍😊

Hey there! Just a suggestion: You could Uber Eats 2 each (1 without sauce that u then add) Big Macs, Chickfila, whatever Costco pulled pork and then blind test. That would be fun.

I never trust a sauce recipe that calls for bbq sauce but doesn’t specify which one. There are a ton of different bbq sauces in the store; some are sweet, some are hot, some are vinegar based and so on and so on. How can a recipe come out when you aren’t directed which way to go, lol!

We call it fish sauce here inn TN. But if you buy it, it's Yum Yum sauce. Either way, it's YUMMY!! We make a Coconut Fish and Rice dish and the Yum Yum sauce makes it even better.

Benihana used to serve a ginger sauce and a mustard sauce. In the past couple years they've changed the mustard sauce to the yum yum sauce. When I go I still have to ask for the mustard sauce which they keep in the kitchen. So much better than yum. Yum sauce

My 14 grandson also puts yum yum sauce on his salads at Japanese steakhouses. For a while, it was the only salad dressing he would eat, period, so I had to make a batch every time he had dinner with us. When he was younger, he poured it on rice, too. But really, he had some rice with his yum yum sauce. 😂
