Why don't your kids help you with chores they're old enough to and so is your husband ,don't look like you're a maid to me,whether you're a stay at home mom or not ,who is gonna teach them if you don't,but maybe that's how they do things down south

I think I write this every time because I know I think it every time I see your videos, but thank you for normalizing real life!
Your teaching your boys some valuable lessons!
I'm going to start this with my young teen. I guarantee mac & cheese will be one of her options, but I can't wait to see what else she picks out!
I have a pretty good emergency & regular food pantry, but I need her to feel included. I think I may put a small condition that she has to pick one ready to eat item, at least, with each stock up trip. Just in case our power or water is out. We live in Oklahoma, and our Winter season & all of our storms seem to cause some kind of craziness. Mostly because our state doesn't prepare. So instead, I'll be prepared! I also like having enough to help neighbors, if they need something to eat, too!
Love your videos & you all are such great people! Thanks for sharing your life with us! ❤

Thanks for your wonderful tips! I never taught my 3 sons how to shop within a budget, nor keeping an emergency food supply. Such valuable lessons to pass along! I appreciate you, Brooke. Have a wonderful camping trip!❤

I'm right there with your boys with the rice and beans. I got questions how are the circle drinks, are they worth is? Are the flavors good or just like any other drink mix? Also have you made a video on your homemade laundry soap? If not will you? Love your videos! ❤️

I use the hanging shoe pouches/racks on the back of my pantry door and basement steps to hold canned food items. The one in my pantry door has various sizes of pouches which works well for smaller cans and seasoning packets and small bottles.

Hey Brooke, I’ve been watching your channel for a few months, I don’t think I’ve commented yet. You and your family are so lovely and down to earth. Your videos always make me smile. I was raised by a single mom who was born during the depression. She really knew how to make a dollar stretch! I’m so lucky that she passed her knowledge along to me. It’s awesome that you’re doing the same with your boys. It’s so important to teach our kids these basic life skills. You’re doing a great job! What happened to poor Ryder’s arm? My son has had a few rough weeks, he’s a freshman in high school. The first full week of school he cut his finger with a saw in his builder basics class (he’s in vocational school in the morning)and needed four stitches. Last week he dislocated his middle on the opposite hand. Being a boy Mom isn’t easy, lol. Thank you for making your videos. You’ve inspired me to start one too. ❤

Thank you, Brooke, you have taught me so much. I'm in the UK, and your methods of saving money work equally as well over here as they do in the US. The savings are not quite as much, but savings are savings, and pennies make £££'s. God bless you and your lovely family x.
