Do you happen to know if black rice works with the Instant Pot?

For the cajun sausage with rice dish, I suggest also adding chicken cut up in bit sized pieces. This will make this almost like authentic cajun jambalaya. Also in place of pork sauage if you can find andouille sausage, it will make it a tad bit more spicy. Personally I do not care for the extra spice so I use pork (and I also add a beef sausage for a bit different flavor). You can add or remove whatever you want from this recipe to suit one's own taste.
I had one but my daughter cleaned out my place and I can't find it. Must have put it in the goodwill pile. But it diem work well with short grain rice

i don`t have an instant pot….I`m only one person here now that the kids grew up and moved away….but I can see it just might come in handy whe the grand kids are here because it cooks food faster?
I've always used the boxed long green rice never rinsed it what is wrong with not rinsing your rice?
