I make these all the time, but I do one thing different with this. I take the peaches and drain the syrup into a bowl and I put the peaches in the cake pan and then I put the cake mix on top of the peaches and then the butter then I pour the syrup on top and then sprinkle with cinnamon. Yuuummmmm
What the hell happened to the culinary baking world? This is a shit cake.

TO MUCH JUICE IN THIS, I LIKE FIRMER CAKES
The only way I have found to make the entire top crispy or crunchy is to melt the butter and mix the cake mix with it in a bowl and then spread that over the top I also use pecans because that's what's called for in a dump cake.

Ok so I just made this! It was great, but the only thing is I think next time I will use 3 cans of peaches bc some spots on top didn't absorb enough liquid and it was still powdery, but other than that is was great and cheap and super easy! I also cut my peaches up bc I have small children and I though the peaches were just a little to big:) Thanks for the recipe! Oh, and I also added cinnamon to the peaches as well and mixed. Then put some on top.

I stir my spices in with the peaches and I use a stick of butter on the top. It works much better.
