You don't need to get things QUITE so close the the camera.

I make tuna fritters, mixed the tuna with flour, egg and spices, and some of the 'broth' with baking powder. Wisk the broth into the tuna and egg, form into small balls and deep fry. You get a crispy exterior and a soft interior… Yummo. Works with salmon too, or my fav is a blend of salmon and tuna.

This was right on time. I just got my things from storage, and found several cans of tuna. I am also cleaning out my fridge today. I organized it yesterday and got rid of anything past date, which thankfully was nothing. I only had to toss a half head of lettuce because it got shoved to the back corner and froze. But today, I am taking everything out and doing a deep clean. I really need to go through my pantry but that's scary. We moved several months ago but our things were stuck in storage due to logistics and so I had to rebuy all new food and pantry goods, now that my stuff is here, I have double of sooo many things. Especially spices. I'd donate it, but it's been opened and used. So yeah, I found all those cans of tuna and was wondering what I could do that wasn't plain tuna salad. Like I said, here you are, right on time!

We make a Cold Tuna Casseroleโ€ฆ cooked pasta, cup of peas, drained tuna, and Italian dressing of choice. Put it in the fridge until ready to eat. Never lasts to the next day! Especially in our current heat!

I love tuna patties with fried potatoes & sliced tomatoes.

Have you tried tuna deviled eggs. You make boiled eggs into deviled eggs but you add well drained tuna into the mashed yolk mixture before stuffing the white. Sprinkle with chives or paprika. Yum

In the summer I like to make stuffed tomatoes. Cut a large chilled tomato in6-8 quarters but be sure to NOT cut all the way through. You want to be able to spread or fan out the wedges once you place it on the plate. Make your favorite tuna or chicken salad and fill the center of the open wedges until the tomato is completely stuffed. Serve it on a lettuce leaf for a light summer lunch or dinner.

The old stand by, tuna in Mac and cheese. We are that a lot when our 5 kids were young. My husband's mom used to make them tuna gravy over toast. It was a simple white sauce with tuna in it.

1/2 a stick of butter melt in sauce pan. Add 2 T flour and make a roux, mix well over medium high heat. Add 1 can of drained tuna and 1 1/2 to 2 cups of milk ( I don't really measure but about 2 inches of milk in the sauce pan). Salt and Pepper to taste. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat, sauce will thicken, serve over toasted bread as open faced sandwich. Make you want to slap your mama.

I grew up on tuna cakes and love them. I donโ€™t always have eggs; I learned mayo isva good substitute for eggs. It works great! My mom also made creamed tuna~~tuna in a bechemel sauce. She served on toast. I kicked it up a notch and add peas and serve it on biscuits.

I have been making a lot of the tuna cakes we love them, and make tuna salad with frozen peas and cut a tomato in wedges without going all the way through and fill the tuna in the middle of the tomato it looks like a blossom and serve with slices of cucumbers. This makes me a happy gale. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Love tuna! I really wish there was a way to make it not smell, though, because that is always wat keeps me from bringing meals to work with tuna involved ๐Ÿ™„ Fantastic recipes! I loved tuna melts growing up, and now I know what I'm doing for a lunch this weekend as we even have fresh tomatoes ๐Ÿ… to slice and add – yum! ๐Ÿ˜‹
