Hi Lisa, I love your videos! I got a chuckle when you explained the “comfortable silence” between you and the server at Olive Garden putting extra parmesan on your plate. That’s so funny because I do the same thing!! So glad I’m not alone here!

Wow these items are so cheap, i'm jealous since i love cooking so much! I've been wanting to buy potatoes for weeks now, but they're always like 6-7$ for a 10lbs bag… no thanks. I cannot wait to eat potatoes ahaha. I've been living off soups too this winter 🙂 Uni student from Canada here!! love your stuff :))

You know I always love how resourceful you are and how you shop at food lion because you are not too far from me. I'm in the Hampton roads area of Virginia and you said you are in or around Raleigh so we are only a little over 3 hours from each other we have the same grocery stores and I like seeing what you buy from the same places that I shop as most people on here do not shop at food lion.

Isn't that really weird when you cook something & it turns out scrumdillyicious w/o a recipe, and would've loved to have jotted down how much of this & how much of that you put in it!??😅…

Have you ever made a glazed ham loaf? Ham salad? Both so good! I also make fried rice with small pieces of ham, and breakfast casseroles…Hot ham & Cheese on a hamburger bun spread with mayo. Ham is such a great buy when you can get it on sale. When my mother was out of smoked sausage, she would make her red beans using a ham bone or smoked ham hock, then serve it over cooked white rice along side a slice of cornbread. We always had Tabasco, jalapeño peppers( or bottled LA peppers) and either green onions or sliced Visalia onions.

The ham, bean & potato soup reminds me of Split Pea & Ham Soup. I have had a white bean/ small navy bean soup. It has everything your soup has in it, but the potatoes…and beans are cooked down until they are cooked through, but not as much thickness and none of the blended beans. Served with diced green onions on top and a slice of cornbread on the side. This is also good with Mexican cornbread!

    I wish I could eat like y’all. I’d be so fat 🤣
I adore your process of buying on sale as you go. I am going do this more for my husband and kids who can eat like this and not gain so much

Question, when you go to the store do you have meals in mind to buy things for or do you just get inspired when you walk in and see what they have? I absolutely love your videos and your cooking style. ❤

Lisa, I live in New York, and I love watching your cooking show. It's amazing how much you can get for your price. In New York where I live , everything is so expensive. You're such a great cook, I love how good you are at seasoning everything. Everything you make looks delicious, and you make cooking seem so easy! Thank you for sharing your amazing recipes!!

I've never really enjoyed cooking until the last couple of years. Thanks for teaching me so much and for all of the inspiration. I always look forward to, and am happy to find a new That Lisa Dawn video. As usual, this one did not disappoint.
