Sold on the satay!!! I know it sounfs awful, but have you done a csnned fish recipe? I often have tinned mackerel in with some very similar noodles, at times mug shots, and pimp out with chill jam or whatever I fancy at the time. Simple easy, and occasionally I'll add some dehydrated foraged shrooms also for extra crunch. Gonna follow your link, thanks.
