So happy Mama Rosa felt comfortable enough to be on video, hope she enjoyed it! I really enjoyed watching her cook. All these recipes look amazing, I must try and find a good ricotta here. Happy Easter from Dublin, Ireland 😊🇮🇪🇮🇹

I recently discovered tarallo through one of those services that sends you a box of snacks from different countries each month. The ones I had were more in a cracker form and they were savory, not sweet. I love them. I've tried one with fennel seeds and another that is lemon w/ black pepper. I like both but I think the fennel seed one is my favorite. I went back to the site and ordered some more of both.

She did NOT use baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). She used ammonium bicarbonate. We tried this recipe with baking soda and the consistency was great but the taste was bad. Next time we'll try to find ammonium bicarbonate. (We are in USA).

My boyfriends family has Easter breakfast tradition. It has ham, kielbasa, hard boiled eggs and horseradish all together and baked for hours. Its served with sweet bread that has golden raisins in it. Has anyone heard or had this?

As always, thank you for the wonderful recipes! And it was a pleasure to see Eva's Mama, Rosa! Is she not the cutest little thing?? Eva looks like the perfect combination of her Mama and Papa. No wonder she's so cute, herself 🤗♥️

Oh in Argentina we do the Pascualina, named exactly the same btw, but we just mix the acelga with the ricotta cheese… and la nona also put brain inside which… doesn't sound great but… it was, and the egg inside exactly the same, the only thing that i dont remember is the various dough layer, I guess 33 is because of Jesus age at his death.

Belin Eva, nella pasqualina ci vuole la prescinsoa! Just joking, my nonna from Savona used ricotta or (cheapest version) stale bread soaked in milk for one hour and then well drained. Baci!!

My grandparents were from Calabria and mia nonna always made Pizza di Pasqua for Easter which was a very large deep rectangular pie with a crust and layers of boiled eggs quartered, capocolla, formaggio fresca, and beaten eggs to bind it all and a top crust. We would be eating this for lunch for DAYS after Easter. After grandma passed, I would make the Easter Pizza to carry on the tradition. I wish I could send you a picture. Buona Pasqua!
