Do you think the Frito Pie could be made in crockpot if all you really are doing is melting the cheese? That sounds so good and we have a church potluck coming up, but it needs to be something I can do in crock pot! Thanks so much!♡♡

I wanted to eat every one of these recipes. Unfortunately I haven’t been feeling up to cooking lately. Those winter blues are kicking my bottom. TFS and God bless ♥️

Generally our "Frito pie" is left over taco or chili heated and served over Fritos (more like walking tacos in a bowl). I have baked for pot lucks, but I've always put cheese layer next to meat and Fritos on top. Now I'm going to need to try it with cheese on top! Lol!

Comfort food at its finest! Is funny, I didn't know about using the strainer on cans of tuna, I just used it on cans, and you taught me about using it in a can of tuna, but didn't know about using it to drain cans. Sorry to hear about your oven. We're doing Mexican for Christmas. We always do. I already purchased the tamales, we will make enchiladas, rice, beans, guacamole and salsa. Feliz navidad!

    Hey Mel.
In Texas, our Frito pie is just regular chili on top of Fritos. Its so delicious and a perfect meal for the kids to serve themselves. My brothers both played baseball and Frito pie is a necessity at a baseball game 🤣

I really enjoyed all of your easy recipes. I am already a big fan of Valerie. I’m glad that you mentioned her. I love her grocery hauls and her recipes. Thanks so much for the tip for baked potatoes. I’ve been wrapping mine individually for years!
