Low Country Boil (aka Frogmore Stew) is a favorite of mine….love covering the patio table with paper, pouring everything out and then digging in! Can’t wait to try these recipes! I’d leave the onions off the green bean casserole. 😋

I’m a big lover of green bean casserole but I honestly prefer it without the onions on top. I love onions but sometimes I feel like the ones on the green bean casserole overpower the other flavors. I’m gonna have to give this variation of the casserole a try!

If you ever want to cut down cooking time on green bean casserole, you can precook everything but the crackers and melted butter in the microwave for a few minutes, until hot. Then top with the crackers and butter (or fried onions if you’re going traditional with it), and then cook it for 10 minutes in the oven or until the topping is toasted adequately. Enjoy!

Hi Mandy, here is a suggestion for saving your hands when crushing crackers. Leave the crackers in the sleeve. With the seam facing up, place the ends of the sleeve in the palm of each hand and press the sleeve of the crackers together toward the center. The seam will open a little from the pressure, but you can then continue to crush the crackers until they are the size of the crackers is what you want. You can then dump the crackers from the opening in the seam.

Everything looks delicious !! We make shoe peg corn casserole. It’s pretty much the same except it doesn’t have green beans, just the corn and we use cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom. It’s delicious with or without the French fried onions !! I like to watch your videos before I make my meal plan for the week. We made the Mongolian beef noodles a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious !! I served it with broccoli. Thank you for all of the meal ideas !!

The Low Country Boil looked so good. You got me with ribeyes on the grill! My favorite. I would add onions to the top of the casserole, but hey if I happened to be out of them, I don't think there would be any complaints here. <3

It all looks so delicious, Mandy! Not sure about the corn in the green bean casserole. Thinking I would leave out or sub for water chestnuts. Thank you for sharing these recipes!
