Looks mighty tasty! Love how little Happy got a treat!! When we're cooking and spill ingredients, we holler to our dog, Sweet Baby Jack: "Clean up on aisle one!!" and he happily gobbles it up. P.S. Tammy~ I call my hubby of 34 years "Daddy" too💖💖💖

Kraut & weenies was one of my favorites when I was little. Never met anyone that ate it. My husband & daughter think it sounds gross.
Fried okrie is my absolute favorite. That's how we said it in North Alabama. Or, maybe it was just my family. lol My step mom would fry it extra hard for me. Yum

As far as I'm concerned this is the best channel on YouTube for cooking. Just great recipes and a terrific cook. I tried this recipe thinking I had cabbage and I had everything except cabbage. I said to heck with it , and I fixed it minus the cabbage. This could very well end up being my favorite dinner. Thank you and God bless.

Hi guys 💖 My family and I love fried okra. I didn't know that you could fry the frozen ones. We always just throw those in stews and soups. Thanks for the great tip.
Lots of love and God bless you & the family ❤ XOXO

Hi Tammy! This is a new dish for us to try this week. Looks good & I'll bet my crew will enjoy it, too! I'll 'fess up & admit to being one of those who thought fried okra needed to be dredged in corn meal but I tried using self-rising flour as you've demonstrated and you're 100% right about about a delicious, crunchy fried okra! Thanks for another video, y'all!

I make a similar dish with a chub of breakfast sausage that I fry up and crumble in the skillet with the onion. I sometimes add a can of okra, corn, and tomatoes along with a regular size can of diced tomatoes. Then add the cabbage and after that cooks a bit I add a few handfuls of egg noodles. Delicious!

You hit the nail on the head, up here in the north it’s very hard to get fresh okra, I’m going to try with the frozen, I love fried okra, have to go to Cracker Barrel up here to get any. I did make the fried chicken fingers, soooo good.

I'm watching my sodium intake right now so I haven't had this similar dish lately. I have made this without tomatoes and used the turkey sausage instead. It is really good! I'll investigate low sodium sausage and try with tomatoes next time. Living alone, I usually buy the pre-shredded cabbage and what I don't use, I freeze for the next time it's made – also the sausage will go into freezer.

Like you said – quick dish to make! I enjoy your videos!
