While ours were 1800s antique furniture pieces [not Ikea assembly 'furniture'] that were moved in sections for generations in our multi-moving families, I learned from my grandmother and my parents to place any and all pegs/dowels, screws, shelf supports and hardware into a LABELED envelope as to where they go, and tape or even staple it on the underside of the furniture.

Were you spying on me ha ha? Everything you said resonated with me, from the 'Can't tell which batteries are good and which are bad' to the (just today) Hey what's in this glasses case oh it's my glasses from three years ago! Great inspiration to take my decluttering to the next level! 🙂

Thought I'd share that there are places to donate old glasses! They can take out the lenses if they are scratched and replace them or they can give them to people in need with the need for that subscription. I donate mine to a local church that does this but I just thought it would be nice for others to know this. Less waste and helping others 💜
