Would you have considered foraging for your meals, dandelion and other greens could make a great salad, berries, nuts, or mushrooms, or since it is fall maybe some apples or other fall fruit.

I think you did super well putting together that Thanksgiving meal and managing to keep it all hot too! 🙂
We don't have Thanksgiving here in Australia as you probably know but I think it's a nice sentiment just the same.
Especially appreciated your super positive outlook and energy throughout this video, such a nice sunny disposition! 😃

The first of this series was linked in my group for saving money and I ended up watching them all yesterday lol, so good job! The first weeks were kind of sparse, but it's nice to see as you're rolling things over that you're getting a larger variety of what you can make.
I'm not sure what your personal terms are for this challenge but I wonder if you've considered going to bulk barn for some small amounts of spices and/or staples. I know a LARGE amount of cinnamon, for instance, only winds up costing me about 50c! Just figured I might mention it since you might not have thought of it – I know I never did when I was on a small budget!

Wow! Your Thanksgiving looked amazing!! You did such a wonderful job!! Your pantry and fridge carry overs are building nicely!! A nice salad dressing is a 3-2-1 dressing. 3 parts acid (vinegar or lemon/ lime juice) 2 parts mustard of choice or tahini and 1 part sweetener (maple syrup or honey or even sugar with a little water added). Shake and enjoy. You can play with the ratios to your liking. Thank you for sharing with us! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family from Ohio USA. 🍁

Loved your ingenuity with the thanksgiving dinner Jessica, well done! You also have quite a bit of food left too, love that you still have some of the bacon fat left! And that syrup is lasting forever! Glad the camper is back too 🙂

I don’t mind having only a small portion of turkey since I’m all about the mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. I love carbs! 😁. I think your dinner looked lovely. How were the Brussels sprouts? I’ve never had frozen ones before and I wonder how they compare to fresh ones.
