Nothing but weeds. Some of them are up to 4 feet tall! Need to get someone to do some heavy duty weed eating. My Mom is 92 and can't weed anymore, which is sad for her. She loved it so. She does have an apple tree that has a great crop.

The pie cherries make a yummy jam. When I was young we lived on a pie cherry orchard & although it had not been tended to for years we still got a lot for canning pie filling & jam. We only have green beans and zucchini in our garden this year.

Lol, I have some green onions growing in my kitchen window. That's as much as I can handle right now lol. Having my 2nd spine surgery tomorrow, so hopefully in a few weeks I can start doing more!

They make an automated sprinkler that is supposed to scare animals away. I wonder if that would work. Also little bags (from old sox) stuffed with human hair is supposed to help scrare away deer?

The only thing I have ever tried to grow, semi-successfully, was Thai Basil in an Aero Garden. It grew fairly well until I pruned it too much one time and ended up killing all of it but a very small amount. If I had somewhere to transplant it outside I'd hope to get bigger leaves but I don't. I got more Thai Basil pods and one is starting over so it'll take a little while to see something but if it goes as well as the other one I had it should be something in a few months! Lucky to have all that neat fruit and herbs growing that you do! You look like you'll have as many apples as you had grapes a while ago! My absolute very very best to all of you including Po, Freddie, and your mom! Take care, all!

You are going to be very busy once everything is ready to be picked. Your Instant Pot will come in handy for the apple sauce and apple butter. Nice garden and lovely fruit trees.

We only did tomatoes this year. Roma and beefsteak. They were so sweet and delicious!! But they are done for now. We live in FL so some things come and go pretty early. We’ve just eaten our last tomato sadly. Your garden looks awesome!
I think there is a tool you can buy that helps you pick fruit high up in the tree. Hope everyone in the Pacific NW is okay with that heatwave. It’s been cooler in FL than out your way.
