Hello, Mr.Doug I was referred to you by the girl Mrs.Brazell I have the instant pot in the 3 Quart I am learning at the same time. But right now I really need your assistance. My husband went out and bought 12 short ribs for me to cook. And it scares me because I do not want to mess up with them. Now, Doug, I know that you much saute first of whatever to start with you your onions and whatever else. I don't like carrots and all that in my food I want it as simple as possible. Now I have 3 cans of beef gravy as well. How long do you suggest that I cook them for? and I know that you can not go over the level. Can you get back to me before tomorrow?Thank you lynette3232

Awesome video, Doug! All new electric pressure cooker owners need to see this video. So many people get their pressure cookers and are afraid to use them. They will be better equipped to use them now. Great job!!❤️❤️

Doug, thank you for this video! I’ve been afraid to try my instant pot and it’s been sitting on my counter since Christmas and I’ve been dreaming of all I want to do in it BUT I’ve been terrified! All it’s been is this beautiful crimson bomb but NOW you’ve given me the courage to do the water test and make some potatoes!!🥔🥔
PS where did you get the spurtle??

Excellent, absolutely excellent job, so well done!!! This is wonderful Doug that you are doing this for newbie people and actually a refresher on not so new also. My sister will be getting an Instant Pot when funds are available to do so. She has been afraid of pressure cookers and has never owned one. Unlike me, I used to have the stovetop one until these came out two years ago. You are such a good teacher. Calm, you don't rush, you explain things and show things thoroughly. Just excellent. Thank you for this. And now I am going to copy and paste this and send to my sister in South Carolina…. Thanks again. Claudia

U need to build u an applince /gadget room already. Ure the first pressure cooker group i joined .I felt intimidated and a little scert like most .nothing to be scared of newbies.just dont open it until the pins dropped ever.and follow the rest of the safty rules .And u should be good to go .ive the exact one hes using here luv it .use it all the time.one other thing the pin can get stuck sometimes after the pressure has all come out. Just tap around it with a spoon .if that dosnt do it then go ahead and push it down. And yes its ok.in fact in the instant pot manual it says to do just that..mine is getting to where it sticks now ugg lol.not a major thing just aggravating a little. Mines the 8qrt and i luv it .
