Those bakery loves of French and Italian bread used to be .98 cents. Now they are $1.47. Prices are crazy and I find myself price checking the Kroger and Walmart and Giant Eagle apps to find the best prices. They are changing daily it seems! We liked the Apple Carrot Nutrigrain Bars and we couldn't really tell a difference, it tasted better than. The Apple ones to me.

The way that I have cooked the prebreaded okra in the air fryer and had it turn out very edible is to take about 3 to 4 ounces of EVOO in the bottom of a sealable lunch container (I use one of the small tall square ones by Rubbermaid) and a couple of handfuls of the okra, pop the top on and seal it because you are going to shake it until all pieces are coated with oil. Make one layer okra and donโ€™t overcrowd your fryer. The heat/air has to have room to circulate in order to cook properly.
Thank you so much for sharing another great haul with us, Tamera!

Last week I think you had said using the off brand French onion soup wasnโ€™t as good as Campbells. I wish I would have seen that before I made French onion burgers. There is such a BIG difference. We couldnโ€™t even eat half of the burgers they tasted so not that good lol I look forward to making them again with Campbells. Trust me people make the French onion burgers on onion rolls with cheese but use Campbells. They are very good.

$11 for potatoes insane. It is just my husband & I so for mashed potatos I just buy the lil packets. Potatoes is 1 thing I splurge on so we get the golds & they were $5.99 for 5 lbs. I will be trying to catch on sale from now on!

Busy day, just watching on Wednesday morning. The potatoes, oh my word, yes. Yellow potatoes here (Southeast Michigan) 5 pounds for 7.49. Holy crap. I was stunned. I am with you, we will figure out other options or go without, I am not going to pay that. I am hoping to hit a farmers market this weekend and figure out if I can store them in the basement. Nice find on the gift items. Have a good day.

It's tough with prices as they are. The marked-down toys were a good bargain. I'm hitting charity shops (thrift stores) more than ever for kids clothes and toys. Keep huntin' those bargains. ๐Ÿ˜Š No Ale 8 this time?

I donโ€™t think itโ€™s a bad idea to stock up on medications now! Who knows if you will be able to find it when you need it. Will not be getting cheaper anytime soon.

Very nice haul. Yeah, time for me to start stocking up on cold & flu items again. Once kids go back to school they almost always come home with a cold or their allergies flare up. Happens every year. I'm usually better stocked on that stuff, but I've been slacking.

Good haul, it sure doesnโ€™t take much to mount up does it? My last trip to Walmart 8 days ago strictly for food costed me just over 356.00 for my family of 4,but that is a once a month haul. I have to travel half an hour to a bigger county to buy groceries and thereโ€™s not really any discount places to shop at anywhere near me. I pick up milk, eggs and little things like that in my hometown throughout the month, but the grocery stores here have ridiculous prices on everything so Iโ€™m stingy with my Pennies. I use a lot of potatoes so Iโ€™m hearing you about the price of potatoes. I have a couple picky eaters in my family so unfortunately for me I canโ€™t find cheaper options for things because they wonโ€™t eat them.

I wanted to watch because I think Walmart is more expensive than our 2 other grocery stores these days, especially when they have sales, so, I wanted to check out your prices, but, you didnโ€™t give us prices, so disappointing.

Weโ€™ve been taking of advantage of tax free food in Tennessee this month by stocking lots of meat. Others are doing the same, too. Some things have been difficult to find in stock.
