    I don't know why this dish is so popular among Non-Koreans, but when Koreans make bulgogi, we don't use ground beef. We use thin shaved beef. The rice we eat is neither jasmine nor basmati. Korean rice is short grain rice and it is stickier than long grain rice. Furthermore, we use a spoon to eat rice. Not chopsticks. Chopsticks are for banchan.
