I don't know why this dish is so popular among Non-Koreans, but when Koreans make bulgogi, we don't use ground beef. We use thin shaved beef. The rice we eat is neither jasmine nor basmati. Korean rice is short grain rice and it is stickier than long grain rice. Furthermore, we use a spoon to eat rice. Not chopsticks. Chopsticks are for banchan.

That looks good! Can I use coconut aminos instead of low salt soy sauce? I'm on low salt diet and so even low sodium soy is high.
