Roast is one of my favorite meals. I don't cook it often because my picky son will not eat it, but I need to cook it more often. Yours looks delicious.

If your making this the day before you can take the meat out out thr juice in the frige for a little while and that fat will get hard turn whitish and you can just get it all out with a slatted spoon all the juice will run out of the spoon but all the cold hard fat will stay in the spoon and just throw it away after you ger all the fat out you can warm it up and pour it on the meat. Also I make roasr similar to this but i dont use the lipton onion soup mix I use 2 cans of Campbells french onion soup but I bet it taste wonders with the lipton soup mix too…
    looks really good❤😊

So Delicious! One of my favorites is Beef Roast. I hope you saved a little taste for the furry babies 🐶. I saw them patiently waiting when you were pouring the Au Jus over the roast. 💜

I want a bite, that looks delicious. Good price on those liners, last time I used my crockpot I was out all I had was a ton of turkey bags I got at Wal Mart for 50c, used one of those, it worked great, so in a pinch it's a good tip.

I am just so happy to have found your channel 🥲 I miss my momma. She was the best cook and did little cheats she called them like sneaking in some premade soup. she said, adding a touch of sugar is a secret to a lot of foods, too. Thank you for reminding me of her ❤

Yep, that's how mama used to make it, only she used a big pot on the stove instead of a slow cooker. For a bit of a change you can also add a can of cream of mushroom soup to that too.

I always make my roast exactly like my granny did. She always browned hers good all over on top of the stove. Then she cut 2 onions really thick and put them under the browned roast. Cut up your carrots and potatoes, throw them in , salt and pepper everything good. Add 2-3 cups of water , cover and simmer on med low for 3-4 hours. It’s so good… My granny’s roast is my favorite meal. But this looks delicious Tammy. ❤❤
