I made this recipe tonight and it was very good. I did substitute the hamburger meat for Gardein burger. I added corn like you suggested. My husband really liked it. I will add this to my meal plan.

When you're going to dip chips into salsa, regular dips etc ALWAYS take whatever you're going to use in on sitting out of the store containers and put in a separate dish.
    WHY???
The salt on any type of chip waters/breaks down the ingredients and you'll end up with watery nasty dip in your containers that are more prone to spoilage

Happy New Year Mel and Family. Everything looked delicious and I think I'll try the Sloppy Joe one first. My Husband and I love to do Grilled Chicken Salads as a dinner. So quick and easy. Thank you for another great one and we'll see you next time.

My husband's favorite is salad with chicken strips and Buffalo ranch dressing….it's so quick and easy and perfect for summer when I don't want to heat up the house ๐Ÿ˜‹

Thanks, Mel! After the holidays, I find myself dreading dinner time. Two weeks with two teenagers & a husband home from work = one cooked-out mom. One skillet meals are a great way to use pantry staples, have an easy clean up and satisfy the family. Going to try the Tex-Mex meal tomorrow night.
Iโ€™d like to see a few Dutch oven meals from you! Santa brought me a new Le Creuset this year & Iโ€™d love to find a few fun recipes.

Hi Mel! Happy new year! These are both going on my menu next week but I have a question.. do you think that the frozen diced potatoes would work in place of tater tots? They have been impossible to find in my area for months , I'm a little worried they might be too soft with the sloppy joe mixture and I love me some crispy tater tots!

I love your recipes, you make cooking effortless. Luv your channel…wish you'd be on TV. Your recipes are just as delicious and so much simpler than people like Rachael Ray, who I love, but too many odd ingredients in her recipes for my liking. Best of luck and many blessings in the new year.

These meals look great but you are right about soft tortillas. My husband nor daughter really likes burritos because of the soft soggy shell. I don't either but I have gotten used to it because of the flavor the food and sauce gives. So would that be the same way with this beef taco skillet meal? Thank you for all you ideas!!
