Was at my krogers in Ohio , prices increased again! Continue with no crackers on shelf but a few Ritz boxes . No dry beans , rice was very low. Tea only a few bottles on shelf. Milk low. Lunch meat continues to be low not many choices. Was a nice selection of valentines junk to buy. So had to chuckle at that . So when all eles fails you can have a box of chocolates with a snuggly stuff valentines bear.

I was excited to see Mason jars in stock at our Meijer…..Than I saw the prices….They have gone up a lot. In the fall I paid around $12 for 6 half gallon jars. Now they are $15…Lid prices have also gone up.

THANK YOU and your subscribers for updating us on supplies at stores. This serves to remind me to keep stocking up, because it’s easy to become complacent about all this, at times.

Update Ohio Went to Dollar General today They have taken and expanded the alcohol into more coolers leaving less space for dairy. Only 4 gallon 2% and about 6 of whole the rest was very sparse with May missing items in there and the freezer section. No salt, saltines, marshmallows. Detergent isle was mostly large containers of tide pods, the other detergent were hit and miss. Very low paper plates, plastic utensils, bowls , zip lock bags and other items like foil and Saran. Many missing paper supplies but did have some. Many missing shelves of medicine. Also cat food , soups, pastas low had 6 packs of egg noodles . Good luck hunting.

Our local Walmart has been regenerated with plenty in all departments here in Southern SC. However prices are definitely much higher on meats, cereral, coffee, some dairy products.. not by pennies, dollars

UPDATE- I just came from BJs wholesale club. There was a sign at the self-checkout that fresh poultry was limited to one item per customer. Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I ordered a bag of wheat from a bulk food company and they hadn't shipped it yet after 2 weeks. So I called, and they told me it was delayed because there is a cardboard box shortage, and they didn't get their order. They found another supplier and are waiting for their boxes,so they can ship

No saltine crackers in Dollar Trees in Northern Virginia. Also, had my physical today and was told that the lab that usually provides the service is running low on stock and I will have to go to a particular location to have my bloodwork done.

2-10-2022; I'm here in PW Virginia, and my local store looked pretty good, in the meat department, better than a few weeks ago, but, who knows how long that will last. Gallons of store brand water no where to be found, replaced by Deer Park.

I was going to buy toothpaste at walmart in upstate ny today, but decided it wasn't worth it. They had all of it in a locked cupboard, like a kitchen cupboard where you can see through teh glass doors. all the toothpaste fit in that cupboard and the cupboard wasn't even full. it wasn't specialty toothpaste or anything, kids, adults, crest, colgate, regular brands all locked up. I didn't need it bad enough to bother finding someone to unlock the toothpaste. the rest of the isle was mostly empty. the store was more sparce than usual but even so it seems strange to lock up such a cheap item.

On the salt shortage: I grabbed another cheap iodized salt at the store yesterday. The stuff keeps forever, so when you see it (always get the iodized!) buy a couple but not the whole shelf! There is always a mother or family on low income that also needs it.

Brother – Northeast storms were over a week ago and should no longer be impacting our supply chain. Our grocery store (Stop & Shop) has no canned dog or cat food, limited frozen vegetables or potatoes, limited sports drinks, limited bottled water (no single serving water bottles), crackers & cookies ok, coffee limited, teas limited, no chicken, plenty of pork, limited beef, limited paper products
