18:50 OMG your hair is so adorable with the wide headband like that. You totally are rocking that look even in the wee hours of the morning.

The difference between dried flowers and dead flowers is the same as the difference between dehydrated fruit and rotten fruit. Do you use a dehydrator to dry the flowers?

That was an amazing deal on the freezer! But with respect to your family, I think they are wrong. You should fill your freezer (but not overload it). At least you should keep some bottles of frozen water in there. It helps the freezer run more efficiently. : ) Plus, frozen water is inexpensive, will help keep the freezer cold longer if there's a power outage, and is easy to defrost if you need the space.

Girl, you need a tomato/berry corer! Found mine at the local grocery store for under $3.
You will have much less waste of your strawberries with one.
We also use them to remove seed cores from cucumbers and zucchini, use them so much we now have a second one.
Oh, and what about turning some of that leftover blueberry juice into a syrup?!
I'm all about finding those sales, especially on meats. Found chicken breasts for 99 cents/lb and learned how to can Ugly Chicken!!! And my pantry is just bursting with pre-cooked and canned ground beef and turkey now.
Wish I could grow lettuce like you.
Praise the Lord for blessing you with a freezer!!!!!
I've discovered that Ziploc now makes those reusable silicone bags. Found some for $1.29 at the grocery store.

So nice to see your mom so happy for you 🙂

We dried my daughter’s baptism bouquet of flowers to commemorate her big day and we hung them on a wall in our home. I get questions about them by almost everyone that has come to our home. It’s easily one of my favorite conversation pieces. 💓💐

Oh I’m enjoying this video immensely ❤I’ll be watching it again! I had a question about canning the meat : is it best not to season or salt the meat first? I was curious if it is okay to do and if it’s bland in recipes if not? Thanks Cassandra ❤️

Oh my gosh, I kept laughing when your mom saw the freezer and then went into your pantry to see what she could take back. And then before you showed her the dress: "Are you ready, mom?" And she says "Ready or Not…" Your mom is awesome. I can see where you get your awesomeness.. both parents. This channel is great. I enjoy it so much. I hope you share where you get the alarm BTW.

Thanks much, Cass and Cass's mom.

I recently found you and love your videos! I've been through a silimlar freezer situation where the kids left the door open overnight. I had 7 freezer meals, chicken, pork loin and ground turkey thawed out the next morning. I decided to cook everything in crock pots, an instant pot and stove pots and then refreeze it all. I didn't lose anything either.

That blueberry tea looks so good! As does the strawberry vinegar. I ended up using my tops differently when I made strawberry jam earlier this spring, I followed the blueberry syrup recipe in my Ball book to turn them into strawberry syrup. It turned out rather liquid compared to the blueberry, but passed approval by my fruit syrup-loving preschooler, so I was happy to get an extra use out of the berries! Also, that dress you found at the thrift store is stunning.

Hey Cassie, Thanks for visiting with me while I put Sunday dinner on the stove and tidied up. As always I thoroughly the monthly Chat time. Very informative and some things I knew and some I didn't. This summer I don't have to can a bunch. I'm eating what I have canned already and only canning the things I LOVE. Good to see your Mother and seeing her look so well. I've dried flowers before also. They give your home a French Country vibe (IMO). Continue to bring us excellent content and WALK BLESSED.

When our fridge recently broke, my husband made the same accusation! But in the manual it said it had advanced vent systems & the unit would not suffer if completely loaded, so I was exonerated! When I wanted a pantry & started learning to can a few years ago, he scoffed at that & thought it unnecessary & excessive. I told him then that I felt no need to share if there ever were issues w/supply chain, prices, access, etc. He’s not complained since LOL

I don’t know about others experiences recently, but the melons we bought the last two months have been bitter and mealy and inedible. We’ve tried half a dozen melons across three stores and it’s all been the same.
