I’m going to give this a try for my family of nine. I have never seen anchovy fillets in the store though. Would it be with the canned fish, or in another section? Thanks so much, keep up the good work!

Saw it on Sunday, cooked it today… Magnificent! Changed the recipe a bit. Strained the olive oil from the tuna into a Wok, added some freshly minced onion and garlic (lucky me, I found some), then added the tuna followed by the tomato sauce. Spice to your liking – I did add some Cayenne pepper, sugar, salt, black pepper. Cooked the spaghetti al dente, and mixed. Freshly ground parmesan – heaven on earth! Didn't use the steam cooker, though. Your recipe and video was a wonderful inspiration! Many thanks, and please keep them coming. Greetings from Germany! We are in this all together! Have faith!

Always my question when it comes to pasta in the instant pot is knowing how much water to put in based on the amount of pasta. Is there any formula that you use?

Thank you for the inspiration! I made it on the stove and it was yummy.
I only used one 12 oz tuna can. Sautéd minced onion and garlic and used Rao’s Puttanesca sauce, which had anchovies, olives, and capers in it. 😁 I forgot to add some heavy cream. I will try it next time. Thanks again!

I also do not do well with dairy. I have been using full fat coconut milk in place of the cream. I noticed in tomato recipes the coconut flavor is not really there. 4 minutes seems to be my magic cook number for the pressure cooker. Use that time for rice and pasta.

The main reason you use anchovies is for the monosodium glutamate in them. You can use a pinch of straight MSG if you don't have the anchovies. Accent table seasoning is a suitable replacement.

It is a good thing to do these types of recipes. I have ran into a few folks who need them.
I don't know about tuna with a tomato base sauce. I can't say I've ever had fish with tomatoes. Is it odd, but good or is it surprisingly good?

Hi Flo. My Dad loved anchovies (and Spam-Dude!) I don’t care for them. But I’d make this anyway because you used so little Anchovies. My daughter will not eat anything that is cooked w/tuna (or anymore I can hardly get her to eat meat!) but I’m gonna try this because all the cooked tuna recipes that I know are done in a white sauce. I couldn’t even see the tuna in your recipe so maybe if I just don’t tell her…🤣
Thank you! You and yours continue to stay well! 💗
