The OXO salad spinner does have a newer design, but is still a must-have. Mine is probably 12 years old and still going strong. I fill the bowl with water to wash the greens, then put in the spinner to dry and/or store. Because the is an air gap between the spinner and the bowl you can actually store the cleaned greens for a few days in the refrigerator.

Thanks for the tips. It's funny because right before you said you have a workout channel I was just thinking you must be a body builder , even though I couldn't see you, because your arms and hands are so vascular.
I was a body builder for several years and it was the one thing I didn't like. My arms got that way too.
