Watching from the Czech Republic, somewhere we can't begin to say the name of, about 30 minutes from Zlin. Thought it might tickle you how far I go to watch your videos and how it still makes me smile to have discovered that you're from near my home in Oregon.
Oh, darn, I can't paste the clip where it says YouTube cz. Darn!
    I tried!

I have not found that the sealing gasket transfers garlic and onion odors to non savory dishes. At first I used two gaskets, one for onions/garlic and one for everything else. But I found this is un necessary. I cooked jambalaya and then bread pudding immediately thereafter and there was NO issue. I no longer worry about it.

so helpful ! Thanks a lot. I just bought Duo 8 because I do a lot of chicken broth and bone broth for health issues. The big size is perfect for this purpose but for everyday meals it's to big. Your tip to put a small pot to cook meal inside is fantastic. Also to bake cheesecake can I use a normal spring form or it must be a special materiel one for Instant pot ?. ( sorry I speak french , my spelling isn't perfect )
About the smell I see on you tube girls ordered 2 or 3 rings with different color and reserve each color for a different category of cuisine .

I really enjoy your videos. One question I have is my instant pot is a Viva & several times when I use the pressure setting; making beef stroganoff I get a beep & Burn appears on screen. I always make sure their is plenty of liquid & everything is thoroughly mixed. What am I doing wrong? Hopefully you have an answer.
    Thanks. Carol Richardson

Instead of boiling water separately why not put your water in the pot when you turn it on sauté so it will come to pressure faster. You could even use broth if your recipe calls for it.

Thanks Nili. I am a new user (had it a bit but broke both bone in my arm so I couldn't cook). I am really excited now after watching several of your videos. I love your clear, tell it like it is way of showing us how to use this. Your tips on accessories really helped me (not my credit card) as well as these tips. I am heading out to the grocery store so I can get cooking!

Got my IP just a few days back by post. And whilst I'm now a woman in love I must say the manual that comes with it sucks! Hardly any info and very unclear to say the least
That said videos like this rock! So much information and clarity. Thanks a million. And yes please do keep sharing your knowledge.

We have 2 Instant Pots, an electric water kettle, and a food processor. Between just these 4 items, we never use the oven or stove anymore. Kitchen Clean up is crazy easy, now. I don’t think I could ever go back. The only thing I haven’t tried: cookies.
