Hey Autumn, thank you for you great intermittent fasting tips. They have really helped me over the years. I did intermittent fasting wrong for a long time. I lost weight but also messed up my hormones. I tried to follow the 21-day intermittent fasting bundle but suffered horrible side effects that made me gain weight. Right now, I've moved to more balanced eating, reduced my fat intake, and added more carbs. Not only do I feel amazing but I'm getting lean and strong. I say all this to remind anyone struggling with intermittent fasting that there are other methods to health. Autumn, though I appreciate your content I do think it can be misleading for those who do not process fat well. That said, I do fast from time to time but I always eat balanced meals and do light excersise/strength training. That's what worked for me.
Guys, we all have different sizes but you may want to add a few carbs Autumn. No offense but a little body fat is fine. I just feel like the regiment is getting too extreme.
I ordered LMNT to use in my water. I used a packet and the next day broke my fast at 9 am with blueberry pancakes. I have had a six hour eating window following your guidance by eating Greek yogurt chia pudding, etc. There is a drug called Stevia in LMNT that causes you to eat blueberry pancakes or kill 4 hours before your eating window. Just an FYI if you didn't know LMNT has that drug; it is probably similar to Diet Coke, I guess. All of your other advice is good; I have seen many gains so far.
Sardines I will put mustard or sriracha on them. I also hide them in an omelette with garlic, onion and veggies; sometimes I throw some cheese in the middle and then melt a little on the outside.
I used to hate those oily sardines, until I started pairing it with avocado and greek yoghurt or cottage cheese in a leafy salad with cherry tomatoes, slivers of jalapeno – and don't spare the black pepper 😅
I love that you use the full fat versions! I recently switched all low fat products to full fat versions and it feels way more satisfying. Honestly I think we've all been scammed by the 90's no fat bullshit 😂 . Also studies show that we need the fat in order to have good dental health and it is also more nutritious.
Mash sardines with some plain mustard, Greek yogurt or sour cream, 3-4 shakes of curry powder, 1-2 shakes of cayenne, paprika, black pepper, salt, place mashed concoction between two slices of cauliflower thins from Outer Aisle, sliced cheese, dig in!
You can basically dissolve anchovies by sautéing them slowly in olive oil. Add garlic, tomatoes and herbs and you have sauce for spaghetti squash or eggplant.
Salmon tip: I really dislike sockeye, BUT coho (or silver salmon is another name) has a much milder flavor, and I can tolerate it quite easily. I order mine from Wold Alaska and they mix the orders, so my hubby gets sockeye and it's coho for me. I pan cook in ghee with S&P and lemon squeeze when serving. To me it has a vastly different flavor than sockeye. So glad I discovered it.
Im so glad you mentioned sardines! Im a huge fan of them and they are one of my favorite weight loss meals. I put them on top of rice cakes, in salads, or on rice.
Wow. do people MAKE sardines??? 😂 I peel the can open, pour out excess liquid and add a healthy amount of mustard! Have eaten them right out of the can! No clean up!🤭
I agree with most on the list, I can't say I'm a fan of soy products to be honest. Were I to consume plant protein powder, I'd rather have pea protein than soy. Pork isn't as bad as people consider it to be and I know quite many people prefer pork over chicken. As for dairy products, there has been research that proves that the human body can't digest all the benefits of protein in dairy products that fat's lowered or removed. With that being said, skip having pure protein shakes, rather make a protein pudding like the ones Autumn has shown or whether you're not into ketogenic approach or that insulin sensitive combine also oats alongside the fats you wish to include. I just also want to mention that eggs apart from being insane when it comes to boosting up your energy and keeping you satiated, are also incredibly versatile and you shouldn't be afraid to consume whole eggs. Consuming whole eggs won't give you digestion issues compared to whites, as for the amount you wish to consume that depends on what your goals are and how many you can fit into your daily nutrition plan. For instance, I consume 6 whole eggs each day, meaning I cut down on fattier sources of meat, and I can guarantee you my blood tests are outstanding and I feel fantastic. P.S. best brunch for me is eggs and avocado, best treat on "cheat day" has to be steak. Cheers :D.
Hi Autumn 🧡 Super useful as always. Can’t wait for your protein powder 🤗 My tip for anchovy: Zuchinni boat (vertical halved, seeds removed) fill that with mozzarella, tomato and anchovy > and then grill in the oven like bruschetta 🤩
I do my skinless boneless sardines like tuna salad, not too much mayo, still chunky with pepper sauce (not hot sauce) for a little kick. I sometimes use the oil it comes in to make a quick salad dressing.
I love my homemade Greek yogurt – I add a bit of heavy cream so its even richer and strain for about 24 hrs. Very low labor involved! Is there any use for the residual liquid that is strained out?

try the Portuguese sardines that come in a can with olive oil and spices, I heard they are good just like canned tunas.

Love that your freezer looks packed like mine! And the peanut butter on the lid…my husband is always annoyed at the pb on the Greek yogurt lid!
I just eat sardines straight out of the tin ✌🏾

I haven’t brought myself to eat sardines either. I heard they’re high in Omega-3’s, just can’t do it.
I was over 40 years old before I discovered Chorizo sausage and wondered where it was my entire life.
