I’ve been wanting to try Wendy’s Buttermilk Breaa. I just made those 4 “baguette” loaves so I don’t need bread right now. I think I also have a couple of Wendy’s Cheese Buns left from last week. They are also quite good. Enjoy your loaves!

I use to make the Butter Milk powder recipe… UNTIL… I grabbed the Coconut power and did not realize it, until I was already in my ingredients. Oh well, I just continued on and I will never return to buttermilk again. I love the coconut ingredient!!!!!! The bread comes out so nice and so soft!!!! I leave my bread in the oven for 20 minutes after turning off the oven. (Just Incase it wants to fall). Thanks so much for your recipes….Take care and hugs!!!!

Oh goodness wonderful, I finally have all my ingredients plus the buttermilk powder, so now am not sure which one to go with, as long as I get my whites to act right, lol! Anyways thanks for sharing another great experiment!

Two things, not that you asked 🙂 (1) you are looking especially trim in this one (2) the infusions have truly brought the color back to the apples of your cheeks instead of the rosacea-lke butterfly across the bridge of your nose. One of these days I'll get the nerve to mix up a batch of the egg white bread LOL

So dearest @indigonili I have couple of questions for you. 1- I really like the taste of yeast does the addition of butter milk omits that step?? or if you do both step it will increase the flavor?? 2- In your opinion it is better to increase cream of tartar to get the sour dough flavor??

Hmmmm, wondering what yoghurt powder might do. Looks like it has 5 carbs and zero fat per Tablespoon. Cream cheese powder has 1 carb 2gr fat per Tablespoon. Amazing we have so many powders available to us now … parmesan, Swiss, cheddar, vinegar powders … exciting experimentation runs wild!!

I have also purchased some of the freeze dried berries: raspberries, blueberries and strawberry pulverized them into powder and mixed/swirled them into a sweet bread version – nice taste treat success for me.

Thanks for doing the comparison. I've wanted to do a combo of your butter bread and Wendy's buttermilk break. I'm the only one eating the bread in my house so I'm so happy you are doing this. Thanks Nili! From Ontario Canada
