I'm mexican and here, we use chile serrano for many things, it's like all homes have to have chiles serranos. I was surprised that it could be an ingredient for the green seasoning. Thanks for sharing, every time I see trini doubles, my mouth starts watering 😁😁 Love to Guyana, Trinidad and all the caribbean countries 🥰
    Btw: love your nails 👌🏽🤍

It was interesting to watch a "Trinidad Version" of our very much Bharateey (Indian) i.e. "Punjabi Chhole Bhature". Seems that even this recipe would be as delicious as our chhole bhatures are !

    Gaaaah!!! No meat!!!
Just kidding, the best vegan type dish the Wife and I ever had was when we were in Jamaica.
A Rasta man named Chisty made it for us,it was like a goulash and it was excellent!!!
You never even thought it needed meat.

Girl you did an amazing job with your doubles recipe! My mom show me how to make doubles a few days ago too. I was waiting patiently to get her recipe so I’m so excited to make it by myself 😬😬 hopefully it comes out as good as hers and yours 😋😋

This is probably the best tutorial for “Trini Doubles”. I just can’t seem to perfect the recipe as it takes practice. ❤️the addition of yellow split peas to thicken the sauce. As always you’re the best teacher n 🧑‍🍳and makes cooking seem so effortless 🥰🌹
