I'm mexican and here, we use chile serrano for many things, it's like all homes have to have chiles serranos. I was surprised that it could be an ingredient for the green seasoning. It was interesting to watch a "Trinidad Version" of our very much Bharateey (Indian) i.e. "Punjabi Chhole Bhature". Seems that even this recipe would be as delicious as our chhole bhatures are !

This is probably the best tutorial for “Trini Doubles”. I just can’t seem to perfect the recipe as it takes practice. ❤️the addition of yellow split peas to thicken the sauce. As always you’re the best teacher n 🧑🍳and makes cooking seem so effortless 🥰🌹
