Im positive the majority of ppl who like Papa John's in the U.S.because they're in a small city where there isnt much else available. I'm in a mid size Cleveland and we have LOADS of family pizza places which are great. I get Papa Johns maybe once a year when i use their coupon lol

Papa John’s is worse than Dominos, and New Yorkers, who have great pizza on every corner, would probably use either one to line the bottom of a bird cage rather than eat a slice from either place. Plus Papa John is a total trump loving d-bag.

Papa John's use to be so much better when the founder was still part of the company. Ever since he was removed it seems like they started purchasing lower quality ingredients. I could very well be wrong. Maybe it's just the area we live in. Now we stick to mom & pop pizza places. So much better!
Papa John's I don't like, Domino's is yucky, little ceasers is yuck, pizza hut is 👍 the best, pizza hut created the stuffed crust inventor.
Papa Johns Dominos and Pizza Hut are marginal to horrible for pizza. Every town has a local pizza restaurant or Italian restaurant that makes way better pizza than any of those chains. Take it from me. I should know by looking at my actual last name
Papa John’s AND Domino’s are both crap in the USA. The food arrives and it looks nothing like the TV commercials. Crust is like eating cardboard. Once you’ve had better, it’s hard to return to crap.
I am American, an I have never tried Papa Johns. Crazy! Always say I’m gonna try them but have a personal favorite in my town called New York pizza. Glad you guys are saying they are good, so I will have to give them a try! Thank you!

In terms of our national pizza chains, my favorite is Papa John's solely due to their garlic sauce and spicy garlic sauce

I am a former delivery driver but we cut and boxed the pizzas. I do know how to make pizzas as well so I can answer some questions that you posed. 1st an order of peppers comes with 5 peppers, plus each pizza does come with 1 pepper. 2nd the dipping sauce also comes with each pizza and the sauce on the knots are different and each person puts the sauce on the knots differently. 3rd the pizzas crust is all fresh dough that last like a week max in the freezer before going bad, but the thin crust is premade and only large unless you get a gluten free which is only the small.

Papa John's sauce is too sweet. Not good pizza imo. ETA Well, the red sauce that is. I see that you two got pizzas with sauce other than red sauce.
When you mentioned Okra in NC, it flooded my mind with memories of my grandparents taking me to the beach every year as a child and we always stopped at Sonny’s BBQ near statesville. That is where I first had fried okra and I remember loving it so much and looking forward to it every year!
Papa John's quality is not good anymore. They booted the original owner and Peyton Manning got out and it went downhill from there

I don't like Papa John's, I prefer Dominos. I was pregnant and craving pizza the first time I tried Papa John's and it made me puke, and the worst part is I still craved pizza after that though the smell of it would make me sick because of my Papa John's experience.
