This is a good in-novel costume production with skilled actors and an interesting storyline. I like how this strong and capable FL didn't just forgive him and take him back. It was also nice that not all the tropes were used in this. Even if the ending is open, I found it satisfying anyway.
SYNOPSIS – SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL is a modern day woman who is reading a novel where the heroine is mistreated and abused by her husband and his pregnant concubine. She gets so angry at the two villains that she ends up somehow entering the novel. She is now the unfavored Princess but this modern woman won’t accept being bullied.
Soon she is cut off from money by her husband, so she starts inventing different modern things like mosquito coils and ice from salpeter, earning her the money she needs. Doing so has the Emperor recognizing her as a talented woman, her husband intrigued by the change in personality and the concubine enraged for capturing the ML’s attention – all the while dealing with the challenges the body’s original owner couldn’t and aiming straight for divorce.
Well, this has an open, somewhat happy, ending.

She leaves him but he chases after her and it’s left open ended which is BS. Anyways im gonna pretend it ends this way with him regretting how he treated her and she left and ends up with the much better Crown Prince. 😊

There's a fine line between love and hate. The minute he sacrificed her child for his mistress, he had cut all ties between them. Yes, she could forgive BUT no reason to love or take him back. His action is a love breaker IMHO. Stay with the good prince, girl. And remember your father had advised you against marrying your ex from the get-go.
Listen up! If someone saves you, give them money and a good meal instead of wrapping your whole self into them.

Loved this strong smart FL character…I'd like to think though she forgave him, she wouldn't take back the ML even though he's seen still chasing after her.
If she took him back(highly unlikely) that would be completely against her character that we've all seen in this drama.
So, though she left w/the SML, there appeared to be a small possibility of an open ending…but again, i very much doubt she'd return to the ML based on what we all saw of her character, smart, decisive outspoken & stubborn 👍
I watched some versions of this plot but in this one the ending is not opened to the level of previous ones, where she is stopped by her ex husband even before she leaves…and there drama stops. Here she actualy goes away and leaves ex husband behind. He tren rushes after her but… lets trust our FL to live new life withouth him… I sometimes have a feeling like writters are just afraid to let this plot finish with conclusive, determined ending as they don't want to advertise women's empowerement to make their own choices.

Much as I loathe these kind of dramas, I was impressed by the FL development. I liked that she became strong and independent, eventually saving herself. She valued and respected herself in not giving in to his pathetic behaviour and weak apologies. She is more suited to the crown prince, who can see through people for who they are and matches her in intelligence, temperment and have a natural affinity to help their people with kindness and empathy. Like that its an open ending. I hope the criwn prince and FL get together in this ending. Don't particularly care for the weak minded and pathetic husband.😅

This is a funnier version of this drama than the previous one i saw a few days ago. Pretty much follows the same plot but the previous one was much more drama/darker than this one. Same dumb ML as before. The previous one showed the ML begging the FL to take him back just as she was leaving for the frontier with the 2nd ML. It looked like an open ending but if you really look hard enough she actually turns her position to face the 2nd ML and the frontier. She forgave the ex hubby, but she looked determined to leave this past behind her and go forward with the new bf. The ML did go a little homicidal/nuts and kill the pregnant concubine, her deceptive maid, and the real father of the unborn baby. The 2nd ML was the half bro of the ML. He, the entire royal family, an assistant/guard, and the mentor really bagged on the ML for what he had done to the FL and told him the truth of who saved him. He couldn't kill the FL, but damn if he didn"t try. I believe she left him in his damned delirium state and prayed for the soul of her lost child. I like to believe this version will be similar in the ending that she really just forgives but really walks away to a happier future without him.
I saw a different version of this and the scar was on her face and not her wrist. But this was equally as good except the open ending. ANNOYING
The moment a man dare to sacrifice his own unborn baby for the sake of his misstress, that man has done! He doesnt deserve any forgiveness, respect, let alone love! No way! The plot is suck!
