Your new rosemary plant is going to do great! They are pretty darn low maintenance. The crazy prices are too much!
I also recently learned about the strategy of staying away from the store altogether. I’m trying to do that a little bit combined with eating a lot less process food and doing meal prep and it is helping. But I don’t have kids so I can’t even imagine! 😂

Definitely trying to make money stretch. I’ve started doing grocery trips bi weekly instead of weekly and I’m trying to repurpose leftovers. Like I made some rotel cheese dip for the superbowl then I froze the leftovers and used it to make a hamburger soup.

My grocery haul yesterday from Aldi: 1 gallon milk, 1 strawberry cream cheese, 1 frozen sausage patties, 1 jar salsa. I was going to get some other things, but I refuse to pay the prices they're asking.

Kroger tomorrow for just a few items. The prices are INSANE when these companies are profiting hand over fist.

Walmart egg prices have shot back up again. Grocery prices are getting ridiculous. I've been buying the 50 calorie hamburger buns. They are almost 6.00! But I LOVE bread & I can't totally do without it.

Hi Nicole, I’m not ready to shop my pantry just incase there are shortages. We discovered our Walmart discounts meat Monday morning. My local grocery stores are having egg sales but Aldi and Walmart they are expensive.

The scary thing, to me, about eating what I have on hand without replacing, is that God forbid if something bad goes down, and we really couldn’t get food, what we do? I’ve been eating through my “stockpile” bc it’s getting hard to afford life. BUT watching my shelves get emptier and emptier is definitely unnerving. The past few weeks I mainly buy sliced cheese and a bag of chips for my daughter lunches, eggs and lettuce. Even that ends up being $40-50 . 😭

Try buying a rotisserie chicken instead of the already cooked chicken portions. They are five dollars at sams. I let it cool and pick the meat off. You could easily just eat the breast. I make bone broth with the carcass and use that for soups and other recipes I need chicken broth for. I usually get at least 2 meals using the chicken. Way cheaper and easier than buying and prepping chicken.

So my grocery bill stays low Well higher but lower than if I got all I wanted lol can't wait to join reverse so u can teach me bout them poptarts lmao

I also have to do the regular Jell-o now, and I have to say, it is so much tastier. I can not handle sucralose or any kind of sugar alcohols anymore. Also, I do follow some people that cook/shop from their pantry. I am failing at this, the best I can do it try to delay my shopping trips by a day or two. I also shop at multiple stores, just like you
