Those self-heating hot pot cookers are so interesting! 😀 Please do more of them <3 I wish those cookers were buyable (the inner and outer layer of plastic plus the lid and the dry unused heating element.). They would be amazing to prepare food in times of emergency, where no power or gas is available to cook. And you can put alot of food in there. And they cook very hot and well. Sadly I never saw those before or for itself without meal stuff already inside.

I love this! btw. it is also available in a normal package with no self heating container, so you can put it into your own glass dish and heat it up. I prefer to stretch it with glassnoodles and some meat.

I tried hello fresh and they kept leaving the food outside without letting me know sometimes it was there all day and there were times some food items were missing… the food was good and the customer service was good but I'm probably going to cancel

Those are potato slices, not water chestnuts. The Chinese like their potatoes sliced or sometimes julienned … When I lived in China, they commonly stir-fry them but also use them in hot-pots or in 麻辣香锅。

Hi Emmy, I don't think those noodles are sweet potato, I think they might be Konjac noodles, which often gets incorrectly translated as konjac yam. I'm not positive, because I think Konjac noodles are usually translucent.
