This is my fav Thai dish, except for the peanuts. I was good up until the peanuts. Also, I've always had it with shrimp and chicken. Never pork. I'm gonna have to try that variation. Thx.

Yum Woon Sen looks like it would make a lot of mess for a dish that has to be eaten right away. Can I just separate the noodles and sauce and everything until I'm ready to go on my picnic?

You said don't toss it until you're ready to eat it. For a potluck, can I keep all ingredients in the fridge until I'm ready? Is it OK to eat it cold? Or will it taste different?

    Wonderful as usual.
A small comment about saying chiles add spicyness. I would suggest saying it adds heat, simply because not all spices have heat and subsequently the general use of "spicy" when you people really mean "heat" leads to confusion. In fact sensory research tells us that "capsaicin" the heat factor in chile acts on heat receptors in the tongue, so using "heat" also makes scientific sense.

    Thanks !

New subbie here 😊😊. I love this food! I lived in Thailand for 5 years and this is one of my favourite thai foods. Now that I live in Europe, I always order Yum Wun Sen everytime I eat at an Asian restaurant. Thanks for this recipe! I wanna make it now but I realized I have no fish sauce 😂, need to buy first.
