My mother used to heat on a dry frying Pan, spread out. We never added milk ever or butter, but we were raised British my parents Scottish we mostly altered boiled, but a thin clumpy spread on a dry pan and flip over, keep lid or foil in top. Fast easy put back in bowl and stir.
If you know how to use a good microwave it is very easy to get well heated top quality mash potatoes.
And we are back to stupid content.
I've been reheating my mashed potatoes in the oven for over a year now and have never looked back.
