    My mother used to heat on a dry frying Pan, spread out. We never added milk ever or butter, but we were raised British my parents Scottish we mostly altered boiled, but a thin clumpy spread on a dry pan and flip over, keep lid or foil in top. Fast easy put back in bowl and stir.
