I admit that I was disappointed to hear you mention the short shelf life of the pulled pork after opening. It is on the label to use within a month after opening.
That needs to be on its description page. I'm glad that I only bought 2 cans. Now, off to find MIAJ recipes for using it.
Thanks for all of the meal ideas that you give us and the great videos!

I loved Chicken Tonight! 🐔 I was so disappointed when they discontinued it. My favorite was the Country French flavor.
I don't remember that flavor of Hamburger Helper, but I usually ate the kinds with potatoes or noodles. My favorite was Cheeseburger Macaroni and a lot of times I would make it without meat to serve with meatloaf along with a veggie.
I'll have to try both of these to see which I like best. 🐂 🐖

Jara, I have been fixing your MIJs for my widowed mother to make sure she eats nutritious meals instead of fast food and cereal. She loves the ease & flavor. I feel comfortable that she is taking care of her nutrition.

Does the bar code scanner system only apply to items purchased from Thrive or can it be used on any stored product?

If the meat is omited these would make great easy side dishes. We BBQ a few nights during RV trips and how convenient to add the hot water so it can hydrate while I cook on the grill. No extra dishes. Thanks for great ideas.

Woo hoo. Another fabulous video. I LOVE the MRE’s as well…. We have never had hamburger helper here in Australia. But we did have chicken tonight, and I will be singing that jingle for the rest of the day ha ha ha ha…

The meals in a jar are always great. But, the MRE'S are a step further. Easy to travel with etc and will be way cheaper than the hiking meals that you can buy. I have found that the bought hiking meals tend to need longer to steep than they say. Thank you for the inspiration 🎉
