Hi new to your channel and I agree with you about the roll out of the plan. It was really hard getting started right during the holidays so I will regroup this week. Also I found I put down zero point foods that I didn’t eat daily at all, so I really need to examine that also. Thanks! Happy New Year from Chicagoland!

I wonder if they are trying to compete more with noom. I really miss my green plan. I really loved having accountability vs having 0 point food. I prefer having more points and less 0 points because I ate real and what was sustainable for me.

Informative video, thank you! I started WW the second week of December with the intent of learning and getting comfortable with the new plan and hit the ground running on Jan 1. In the past 3 weeks I've learned a lot by trial and error (and watching videos like yours!) and I still lost 5.6 lbs. I'm very motivated to continue my journey in the New Year and by now, I'm prepared to do so. As far as the PP plan goes, there is no food I eat "most days of the week" and so as a result I chose only 1 as default and I got plenty of daily points to eat whatever I want. In the 3 weeks I've been a WW member, I have never been hungry but then, I've always liked veggies and salad and those fill me up. I'm looking forward to Jan 1st to really tighten things up and go forward even more confidently. Videos like yours have really helped me become more knowledgeable and comfortable with the WW Personal Points plan. Thank you!

For someone who is very new to WW I was only into it a few months before they change to the personal points I’m not quite certain right now how I feel about it I was getting 16 points today on the purple plant I absolutely love my carbs I realize that rice is just off the chart high points for me which is usually a staple in my diet but I can still eat it in limited to 2 ounces and mix it in with my free black beans which I was excited about corn is also free on my plan and those are three elements I eat regularly but I wasn’t quite certain about the new my points now I’m given 21 points a day I do eat a lot of fruit and veg more veg than fruit due to the glycemic index in fruit and health much more sugars or naturally in fruit but I’m still kind of on the fence on whether I’m sticking with WW or going back to my fitness pal where I can at least login my calories and still stay within deficit plus the tracks my steps and I get all of that for free versus paying over $30 a month for WW I’m just weighing my options right now

I've ever used ww. i want to make sure it allows ( takes into value) protein powder supplements since I have it in my daily smoothie? It's the only way so far I've been able to hit my daily protein intake goal

I so agree about it being easier to count to 22 than 1480. I would never be able to stick to counting calories because trying to track all those 10 calorie amounts would drive me crazy! I like that I can just hit a button to add veggies that are worth about 35 calories. And let's be honest here, I didn't get fat on green beans and carrots! I'm still adjusting to the plan myself. I think the hardest part about adjusting to the new plan is adjusting to the new points values of foods that I had memorized. Especially Premier Protein shakes that all have a new points value! Ugh!

I tried the personal points and I don't like it. I also don't care for the smart points plan. I'm so glad it works for some people, but I'm loyal to the older points plus and momentum plans. You brought up a lot of great points. I minipulated the new plan already and can't make it work for me personally. I do think it's a great approach to health and wellness.

I’ve also found myself to be hungrier on the new PP plan. I work with one of the virtual WW coaches and she suggested I take advantage of the zero point foods more often — and also get back to my habit of eating a fruit three times a day (what I did the first six months on WW). I already eat a vegetable three times a day, including carrots for breakfast which some people might think strange.

After focusing more on zero point foods and fruit over the last few weeks, I can definitely say I feel more full at night and am continuing to lose 1-1.5 pounds a week (my average weekly loss since starting WW in July).

I agree it was a terrible time to roll out a new plan. It is such a busy time of year, we are all just trying to get through it. I do love the new plan and it is working for me. I'm in Michigan and it is COLD here too!

I like that we are now rewarded for things they encourage. Earning daily points is the best part of the new program. Personally I think the green, blue, purple was personalized enough. It was fun to be on Team Blue or Team Green. "Personal Points" feels isolating.
Very off-topic, but you have the most beautiful hair and good ears. My ears stick out 😂😂.
    Have enjoyed your unique humor.

I agree with your opinions of the new plan. Yes, it was a bad time to have us change our plans. This last year has been a rough one for many, this was just one more thing to take on. I also love Weight Watchers and believe in it, I know it works. I'm trying to get back in the right mind set starting today. I'm hoping to get going strong on the new program starting now. I've been at goal for over two years and now I'm over goal by 8lbs. But I've gained much more than 8lbs, I was many pounds below my goal two years ago. I really need to get serious about this NOW!

Are you still trying to lose weight? You sure look to be in great shape to me! My goal was to lose 25 pounds, which I did do. I'm satisfied with where I am and have been sticking with the plan so I don't gain anything back. If I were to try to lose more weight, I'd have to restrict myself to a point where I would just be miserable. The new plan has a few tweaks, but in the long run I don't see it as being much different from Blue. It has helped me be more conscious of drinking water- a must for us senior citizens!
