When we visited Hatteras the first time, it was during COVID so all of the buildings were closed. Thank you for showing the inside of them. We will be back someday as well to climb to the top of at least one of the lighthouses. We saw all of them except Cape Lookout (The Diamond one) on our visits. FYI, Currituck Beach Lighthouse (The natural brick one) charges a fee to go up in it.

Great video. As far as would I’ve left? Being a work camper in campgrounds I know the embarrassment when campers utilities don’t work and would of stopped at nothing to get you up and running. That said once they asked you to move sites I’d moved on as well. 👍

Did you go see the House of Rodanthe from the movie Nights at Rodanthe? It was about a mile north of the camp Hatteras visible from the road

it's amazing how deserted that campground is a Cape Hatteras because everyone wants to stay at the commercial campgrounds with all the amenities. Last time we stayed there with our Senior pass it was like $7.50 a night.

Guys have been enjoying you videos for so long. The quality of the photography is great and shows your photography background! I was Wondering I have seen the Dewalt Blower in other videos but thought it was the large one but clearly it is their small one. Corey, would you recommend for blowing of slide toppers and the camping mat> Not looking to blow my back yard leaves or anything needing to much power. But, want to use for more than lighting a camp fire also!

FOS Crew, this area of OBX i am very familiar with and go there often. Corey make sure to always air down to 20 LBS before you go on the beach. The sands shift and blow there and create pockets of lose sand. You get stuck you can get fined. You should always use 4 low too. In most 4X4s this locks the hubs and makes it a real 4-wheel drive. I hope you went across the street to the Oregan Inlet pier to watch the fishing boats come in (Some of the Wicked Tuna boats dock there). They like to lay out their catch on the pier to show them off.

Permit to have a fire on the beach? Is that insane or what? Oh well, don't think I would pay it. Crazy stuff. Love your videos.
Hey quick note for Cory. I'm a license massage therapist and everytime I watch Cory drive his truck he very rarely has his head and shoulders against the seat for proper posture when sitting. Easy thing is to move the back of the seat forward a bit to allow for you to sit up straighter, you don't want to be hunched over as you get older this will help prevent that and then overall thinking about posture everyday will help as well. Keep that head up and shoulders back. Don't want to see you with headaches and neck and should problems as you age. I see it all the time at my practice. Just food for thought. Love your vids and watch them all.

Terrific episode! If you like driving on the sand, you'd love Cape Cod National Seashore in Provincetown, Ma. Much deeper and softer sand especially driving over the sand dunes. Also Race Point lighthouse to tour after driving through dunes is awesome. Unbelievable sunsets over the water! Thanks for getting us on the sand.

I always enjoy your videos. They are so down to earth and "normal." You make a trip be like life. You're flexible, informative and the love and happiness shines through. Your daughters remind me of me and my sisters. Over the years I have found are the kind of memories you encounter. You are so cool about set backs, etc. A big lesson to us all! Love that you share your travels and lives with us! Thank you!

Corey, I am not sure if I like the sight of the rib eyes or the last shot of the GMC. Maybe you could do a closing shot of the Blackstone resting on the tailgate with a couple of rib eyes……..mmm, stick a fork in me and I'm done. #yummmmmm

Sorry you did not get to climb the Hatteras Light. The view from up there is spectacular, so you must plan on returning someday. I will have to wait and see if you get to climb Bodie Island or Currituck lighthouses in the next couple of episodes.
