I never considered a chicken stew-type dish before but because Joe's recipes are so great, I decided to make this. (I asked question below about cannellini beans and decided to drain them but not rinse them.) Turns out the only thing wrong with this recipe was that I didn't double it! It was so delicious and even my picky hubby asked for seconds. Without a doubt a comfort food keeper. I've got a little leftover for lunch and I'm not sharing. Thanks, Joe.

I was wondering what would traditionally be served with the stew? I am used to there being sufficient vegetables in a stew so I was wondering if it is normally served with vegetables on the side.
