If i would of never married my good man i have now i would of stayed a single mom cus my ex husband was a narcissist and it didn't help that my own father was a bipolar one and i took many years of emotional, verbal and mental abuse and my mother stayed with a man like that. Like i can never ever probably understand how a woman as a mom can chose her man over her kids. Just no sorry. Long story short now she's really I'll and nobody can help her bcuz my father still controls her life in every way and she will probably die like that. I love my mother to death but i will just never understand her choices in life. She's the reason why i left home the lack of disrespect.

I started watching Maid and would like to finish it at some point but was very triggered and had to step away. I’m 3 years out of a psychologically abusive and unsupportive relationship. There was a lot of intimidation and gaslighting. We got out at the right time and it’s crazy how you really realize afterwards what was going on that whole time. I was with that man for 10 years.😠 My children and I are safe now and in a much better place.
