You seem like a great guy, who has a great moral compass by way of your parents and what they instilled in you. Im Jewish, but can appreciate the power of religion and having a family that cherishes the power of it. Much love brother.

Joel, loved meeting your parents. I was a pastor for 36 years. Now my wife and I live in BuriRam with my son and family who are missionaries. Our ministry now is to teach their children and be a help to them. I would love to meet you and your family . Maybe we will run into each other some day . If you ever come to BuriRam let me know.

I can relate to the bay leaves! I choked on one when I was young and after that I always took so much time making sure it wasn't in my plate when my mom did pasta! Luckily the fear went away and now I love cooking with bay leaves (use them a lot when doing Indian dishes :P)
