The report says people must reduce consumption to mitigate climate change. C 40 calls for phasing out all meat and dairy consumption by the year 2030. The solution is eat bugs. This is no longer in the realm of conspiracy theory it is real read the C 40 plan.

I remember my mum milking cows. She used a halter and had a cow hitching post. She tied the cows head quite tightly to the post. She was quite forceful, did not let the cow intimidate her. Sometimes with really obstinate cows she had me bring the calf beside the cow as if it was feeding then milked away. It was hard because the calf was pretty strong and it fought to get to a teat, and sometimes got one. Still there were other teats and mum milked away.

I notice you use a net to catch chickens. Try a chicken catching hook. It is easy to bend some stiff wire. Google it to see what they look like. Make it about 3 yards long. Slip the hook over a chickens leg , its really easy, no chasing needed.

Its way harder for moving water to freeze. Perhaps a small aquarium pump could cheaply keep the cow's water from freezing and make the chore a little easier.
