No fridge or microwave? No problem! Last week I stopped by Target and found a few easy grab and go snacks that are gluten, dairy, soy, and sugar free!

For those who are doing a Whole30 now, chips are not allowed, so I'm guessing that includes the Bare banana chips.

    Other suggestions:

Get a good food thermos and pack a hot lunch.

I enjoy sardines. (I know, I'm weird). Sometimes, they're easier to find than the tuna, and they're often in a can with a pop-top lid.
Olives are sold in individual packs without brine.

If you're picking up something and you plan on eating it within a few hours, individual pickled veggies (Oh Snap! Brand) and Proscuitto (pork & salt; Target sells Applegate brand) can be a fun addition to some fresh fruit/veggies.

I also love sugar snap peas

Thank you so much for the snack suggestions. I am flying to TX in a few days with a 4hr layover. I'm going to pick these items up and add it to my carry on. I've been on Whole30 for 29 days now and I'm not going to get sabotaged just cause I'm traveling lol! Thanks again you're great!!

That skip jack tuna is the best tuna to eat. Is caught young so it doesn't have as much mercury in it. Also, if you eat a lot of fish, eat Brazil nuts. They are high in selenium which binds with mercury and removes it from the body.

I have fibromyalgia and am on day 10 of my first Whole 30. I've done great and feel great :-). Before I started I made a decision to continue drinking my energy drink called SPARK instead of having the allowed daily cup of coffee. Coffee gives me ulcer symptoms while SPARK just gives me that mental, emotional, and physical lift I need. It has lots of vitamins, so I consider it my vitamin supplement as well. It has maltodextrine, citric acid, and sucralose- so not Whole 30 approved, but it works great for me and it does not set off my fibro- it actually can stop an attack if I catch it early enough. Maybe this would help someone like me who is already using SPARK and afraid to give it up to do WHOLE 30. I was able to keep it successfully on a Whole 30.

The Bare product dried fruit is NOT Whole 30 approved because it has 22 g of sugar. You have to make sure to look at the Nutrition label and be careful for hidden sugars. Don't just look at the ingredients.

great ideas! I stick to fruit and veggie snacks for the most part, but for work I like to carrying around some homemade whole30 compliant beef jerky! I make it myself too from a recipe on pinterest, so I save lots of money too.

It's really interesting to see the different products available in the U.S compared to the U.K. Ring pull tins are very common and with tuna we have the choice of brine, sunflower oil or spring water. Never seen it in tear off pouches.

Barn, Organic and Free range eggs are inexpensive although there are still a small availability of caged eggs too. I personally love pumpkin flavoured anything and some U.S and Canadian products trickle their way over here during Halloween. I have a gluten dairy free vegan recipe for pumpkin pancakes but would like a boxed mix (like the one you showed here) for convenience.

Gluten and dairy free ranges in supermarkets and cafes has increased greatly (along with non dairy milk and health food in general) over the past few years. There is almost a trend for what diet or meal plan is cool to be following and the stores monopolise this.

My background is in A&P and nutrition so I love experimenting with and talking food! Avocado, kiwi and apple juice makes good "ice cream" or coconut cream/banana and cacoa with hazelnuts for those sweet cravings.

Unrelated to your food vlogs but have you considered a TENS machine for pain relief?

Probably not a micro-free or refrigerator-free recipe, but a really great way of eating both tuna fish and nuts:

    1 handful of almonds
    1 can of tuna fish
    Spices of your choosing
    Lemon juice

Toast the almonds in a pan, add the tuna, spices, and lemon juice and cook until tuna is moist but not too liquidy. Voila!
