If you are going to be cutting large pieces of meat, you might want to look at getting a slicing knife. They are at least 14" in length, a rounded tip, razor sharp and have scallops in the blade to reduce contact with the meat. Well cared for you can easily cut slices/steaks with a single draw. It will also make slicing your roast after cooking easy-peasy. When I first got mine, I only used it once or twice a year. Being a carnivore now, I use it enough that it never goes back into the drawer. 😉

Thank you for your videos, I love them! My husband, who is Scottish, swears he hears some Scottish in your accent and wants to know if you grew up near or in a Scottish community.

What a great idea! Wondering…the large fat cap on the one side – is that suet? Can that be cut off and rendered down to make tallow? Also just curious, which Province are you in? Thanks for posting such a helpful video – I'll be trying this sometime in the not too distant future.

It is awesome and never raking at the same time cutting your own bulk steaks but you feel more confident the more you do it. Have cut up only about 10 bulk lots myself so far but definitely worth the savings ❤️
