Just got one of these and subbed your channel. You've got such an infectious personality on camera with a lovely smile and those perfect pearly-whites 😀 I'm hoping to learn a lot of the basics at least, before moving on a bit more…. 👍

Jill, I finally made this. Added some caraway seeds and cooked everything together, longer because I like my cabbage cooked longer. Wow, this was delicious. Cabbage was sweet and so good. I will add this to my favorites. Thank you for all the inspiration, love you.

Hi Jill. Thank you for this video. I'm doing this recipe on New Years Day to go with my corned beef. I'm going to throw a ham hock in for flavor instead of sausage. Happy New Year to you and yours!

Did want to tell you that I have 8 qt IP; however, I've been experiencing some problems. Everywhere I've read that you're NOT suppose to put no more than 1 cup of water to pressurize, I did just that and my meat wasn't cooked all the way? I do 'batch cooking' so my meals are always so much larger than what I'm watching on YouTube in order to prepare my meals for my family. Do you have any suggestions since you're been using the electric pressure cooker for some time now! PLEASE HELP Niiki from TX

people who cook more compact vegetables and leafy vegetables they should choose 8qt (1200 watts) , if your power line supports. you can get more space to build pressure as Mx line should puts limit to your content. same as items that swell in volume will give you more room to cook. of course, batch cooking is also a point to consider.

Great simple recipe. I have an 8 quart and I like it. I can cook a small amount or large amount. If I am going to use energy to cook I may as well cook a large amount to cut down on the energy used. My meat eating friends use the 8 quart for roasts and chicken.

I could watch this video over and over because you are so funny. You made my morning. You need your own television show. Or maybe you have one. I don’t normally watch the food channel because they make me hungry.
