WHO THE HELL TELLS A CHEF NOT TO SMELL THE INGREDIANTS???

Like I'm pretty sure smelling the things you eat to make sure it's okay is one of the main reasons to even have a sense of smell šŸ˜–šŸ˜‚

So california prices must be outrageous because I priced what they pictured for whole foods and it was only $65. and I did not separate for one butter or egg just did the full price of the pack.

I know they got enough groceries to make spaghetti multiple times, but like… $54 at a dollar store to get enough ingredients to make spaghetti is insane

I love this style of content. I deeply appreciate the teamā€™s continued effort to break down cooking and make it accessible to all people. Itā€™s relevant to our needs and itā€™s self aware while also being light hearted as always. ā¤

21:36 WTF?! The cost of the spaghetti from the 99 Cents store was $54?! I think you got scammed. I'm pretty sure I can make a pot of spaghetti and meatball from the regular grocery store for $20 and it would be enough for 8.

I LOVE this format and would like to see more of it! But it really isn't an even playing field with different levels of sodium, since that's literally the world's #1 flavor enhancer (and very easy to even out between the two dishes with minimal effort). You absolutely (1) put way more cheese on the 99c version (which adds both more umami flavor and more salt), and (2) really needed to add extra salt to the Whole Foods version as soon as you realized that the 99c version had extra added salt.

Still love ya, but it's harder to take these seriously when they aren't executed with at least a bit more detail-orientation! šŸ™ƒ
