Hi Tami and Tom, If I may I would like to add to your response to the veiwer from Israel. I live in Ashkelon, Israel and can not get alot of the products recommended by the WFPB community, however this is the land of tahini/sesame seeds and chick peas/hummus which can be the base for many dressings plus regular balsamic vinegar (brand: Yad Mordechi) is widely available. I also make a deconstuced sushi salad dressed with rice vinegar and/or soy sauce, a swiss chard (called mangold here) and sweet potato salad , the "hungry vegan mama" potato and spinach salad and the list goes on. So many recipes on youtube and blogs. I am waiting for the appliance stores here to start selling an electric pressure cooker and I can't buy a vitamix as the cost here is half a month's salary (I am a teacher) so I understand sometimes it is frustrating because you feel you can't "do it right". I have never had a problem finding most vegetables although there aren't as many options for prewashed prepared veggies but they are available more and more. I have only found regular orange sweet potatoes here so I am very curious about the hannah yams that you and chef AJ talk about. I wish everyone luck with their path to health and I do understand the struggle to lose weight, while I am eating so much healthier I am not really losing weight (for a hundred other reasons) but I keep trying "one meal at a time". Thank you so much for all the helpful content, delicious recipes and inspiration.
