Yay, I have another large family new house vlog for you today! In today’s fixer-upper video I update you on our moving progress. We dig for needed kitchen …
To save money go to dollar tree for containers and trays just FYI. Love the channel so far.๐
I once lived in a 40โs home and the oven was just like that on the wall with the countertop stove, and the microwave had to go above the oven. It was not updated, but that was the best stove Iโve ever used, granted the buttons took some getting used to, and Iโm currently in my 9th home and have experienced all different types of ovens and stoves. Thank you for the updates and memories…a reminder to keep going amidst a crazy season and enjoy life as you can along the way.
Maybe paint the bench white with a fun cushion. Everybody plays everybody wins.
Your kids are so cute. Donโt see them much on your videos but this video showed 2 of them and they are just adorable. I have 6 kids and I hope if I keep watching I can start to do some freezer meals. I didnโt find a sharp shopper in California but I did find a bargain Market and Iโm saving so much
I love how you kept cheering your stove on.๐ โThe little stove that couldโ ๐
Jamerrill, have you heard of wet-erase. they have markers like dry erase markers but and you use them on white boards but they don't wipe off until you spray them. another ineresting thing though I might be nervous to try it but I learned this with laminated sheets you can use sharpie on a laminated sheet and then it doesn't wipe off easy but you can use a magic eraser with water at the end.
This video has been so fun! I love the windows without the dividers, nice and big and clear. I love seeing everything coming together and getting things in their homes, and how you say you will feel where things will end up. Iโm the same way. You have to live in a space for a bit and see what works. Canโt wait to see whatโs next lol Thanks for sharing.
I think I missed the video when you explained why you moved
We just moved in!!!!! I hear you on every point regarding โmoving struggles โ!!!! But still, itโs a privilege and Iโm so happy happy for you!!!!!
I have been really battling depression and anxiety lately and watching your videos has really helped me through the pain. Thank you.
I would lose the window dividers. Just messes with you views and way to much work when cleaning
I've had those same countertops for more than 20 years and all things considered they have lasted quite well. I'm liking your idea of painting them. Can you do a demonstration video when you do paint? I would love to see how it looks. Thanks you!๐
I love how you talk to your children โค๏ธ Thank you for always being so bright and lovely!
Iโm loving these moving videos โค๏ธ
I would definitely get rid of the window dividers! ๐ Looks so much better without it!
"Since I have a break now, I can clean the residue on the window." lol. That sounds like me. Keep the grids off is my vote.
Clear view on the windows it's more to clean anyway!
I absolutely love your new hair. I think it makes you look so adorable!
At least the Hershey's cocoa smells good! lol better cocoa than something like garlic! ๐
Your short haircut is soooo cute๐
Use a sharpie and rubbing alcohol will remove it for the calendar!
I don't ever comment on your videos but I always like them and send you blessings๐ just wanted to say I really enjoy how authentic your videos are and I am a fan of your beautiful energy. Thank you and so happy you found another great home!๐
I have that exact microwave, it's a beast, huh?!?! I think you'll love it, lots of room and power!!
I really do like your retro bathroom!
The best thing for windows as a cleaner is Baby shampoo in water. So in a spray bottle add one Tablespoon of baby shampoo and the fill the bottle with water and shake. And Windex is a great carpet cleaner.
I like the window dividers! Love the new home, what a blessing!!
Ur such a bubbly person I would probably go insane I donโt have the patience but watching ur video I think I can be bubbly like u โบ๏ธ
I love your patience ๐๐๐๐
Hi Jamerrill! I agree with Travis about that microwave….someone is going to get hurt/burned with it being that high. Can you put it on that stand that you have at the end of the counter by the dishwasher? Or is there no electric there on that wall? Or do you have space on the other side of the counter where the chairs and table area is to put a little microwave stand? Love watching your house become a home. We just had our bonus room above the garage finished. We're using it as storage and hubby's "man cave". I still have stuff to go thru and get rid of it. I did a private group of my sisters, niece and older nephews to see if they want any of the stuff first. If no takers within 24 hours, then I pack it up for the thrift store. Now you've inspired me to get going thru the rest of the stuff….tomorrow. Enjoy your new home!
Oh my goodness, when did Benjamin grow up??? It seems like he just went from being a baby to being a little man overnight. Also – at one point you had talked about putting a little table of some sort right next to the fireplace, on the edge of the kitchen. Could you put the microwave there? Put the coffee maker on that little "desk" type area that wouldn't fit the microwave, with coffee cups and the like above, and then the microwave on the table next to it. That way it would be more at waist height, rather than you moving hot items from over your head. You would also be able to pull the things out of the microwave and place on the table if you need to stir something or whatever.
All your belongings make me so glad I'm a minimalist. The stress of unpacking. Wow. Everytime I've moved it's taken less than 1 day to unpack and find homes for everything.
you are such a trouper !!!! Admire you, for sure !!! Great job, girl ! yay !!!
Aren't you scared the mice will attack your pantry when you keep the stuff in the garage? I'm so worried about them ever since i had one running up my stairs..ew! (City girl who moved to the countryside last year). We have a rental, so i'm not completely sure how they keep coming in, it's somewhere in a utilityroom upstairs!!! Catching one a week in traps inside that room. The noise machine worked for a bit, didn't catch anything for a few weeks, but now it seems there are some again.
I would keep your big pans and just put them on your shelves in the garage until you get your new stove as replacing them it's going to cost you about a hundred bucks
Even though I am not a Mom of a large family (it's just me and my husband of almost 30 years, with 2 adult children) I still love watching your videos. You are an amazing super Mom. Your new house looks awesome, so happy for your beautiful family.
I love my water bottle like that
My micro is above the stove and I'm only 5 feet. Not the best situation but I manage. Haven't burned myself yet.
I like the dividers on the windows.
Maybe you could try the calendar on the built in desk area
I bought the same micro from Lowes. Love it. You are a superlady. Very organized. Where's Daniel?
