Today I am making an easy tostadas La Siberia for dinner. This is a popular Monterrey, Mexico-style tostada I grew up having.

    I used to get an avocado salsa at a place called La Parilla Suiza in Phoenix, AZ. I tried to replicate at home with Herdez green salsa & avocado with finely chopped fresh onion & cilantro. And it's close to the restaurant, yummy, but not quite as good as the restaurant's. Now I'm wondering if I should try the pickled jalapeño juice… 🤔

    I make a nopales salad and smash an avocado and use that like beans and put the nopales on top with some queso fresco, salsa and sour cream. It's so good but I am going to try to make this avocado salsa next time.

    My ex Mexican bf used to put mayo on his tostados first and now I always do. It’s really good. I’d put pico or salsa fresca on top too. I’ll have to try this salsa it sounds good! Thanks for sharing!
