I was raised eating cold Pork and Beans. Van Camps is da bestest. We'd have baloney sandwiches, the baloney was cut from a huge log at our little grocery store in the sticks. Just a thick hunk. Then we'd slice it at home and it was all different thicknesses. lol. Baloney sandwich, cottage cheese, pork and beans and chips, and koolaid for a kings supper.

The Hawaiin slider rolls are good with ham slices and pimento cheese, too. I find the Palmetto brand pimento cheese is best if it can’t be homemade.
I like cold pork and beans better than warmed. I’ve always put Karo syrup, ketchup and mustard in when cooking the beans.
