I smash the rosemary with the measuring spoon in the jar so it is in smaller pieces. I do the same with minced onions in the jar because they are sometimes too big. Great flavor but no one wants to chew it 😊

I stated using premade biscuits for my chicken & dumplings a couple years ago was very skeptical because I always made my dumplings from scratch but I will not go back now they taste amazing & it’s so convenient & easy .

If you don’t like dried herb pieces in your food- cook it into your food by putting it in a tea leaf diffuser! Then you can remove once done but still have the flavour!! ❤

For a sloppy Joe leftover recipe. Make a grilled cheese sandwich with sloppy Joe meat. It goes far because you don't need as much as dinner and as always, lots of butter on the bread, edge to edge. I do this with chili leftovers too. 😋

Hi….You could of asked the Butcher to cut the Chicken the way want 🙂 And I always use Poultry Seasoning and Sage in Birds —Under Skin and Over Skin along with some melted butter and don't forget the inside of the carcass—-It needs to be seasoning as well !!!!!

The butcher at the grocery store may be able to spatchcock a chicken for you. I’ve asked mine to cut pieces for me when there wasn’t enough bone in chicken available in the case. Edited to add- he didn’t even charge me!!

I see you using the Kinder’s seasoning for the spatchcocked chicken. I have a bunch of that same brand and I love them. The garlic herb salt and the buttery steakhouse are my two favorites

Gold star is like skyline chili in Ohio, they have restaurants too, if you have a Kroger I’m pretty sure you can buy the chili in a can or frozen!

Oh my gosh I am laughing I thought I was the only one who put steak sauce on my potatoes with butter and sour cream. I buy Texas Roadhouse sauce at the restaurant and use that. Delicious if you have not tried it,also sometime I put BBQ sauce

Thank you! Yes, dinner rut and craving sloppy joe’s! That’s going to happen tomorrow! Yummy chicken & dumplings sounds great also! I just learned the term “spatchcock” and it looked a little too much work but certainly worth the juiciest 🍗. ❤

All the chili mixes I have seen says to brown the ground beef. I have seen others put their ground beef in broth or other liquids. I haven't tried it yet.
    Who sells that brand?

Everything looks amazing and I will definitely be adding some of these to my meal plan. Did you cover the chicken before you put it in the oven or did you cook it uncovered?

I love A1 on my potatoes aswell, baked, mashed, fried, any of them. My question is have you tried it on scrambled eggs? so good. Also if you have a coffee grinder you can grind the rosemary in it to a powder

I cook my baked potatoes in my air fryer now. Don't have to run the oven for a small amount of food. We cook our spatchcock ckn on the grill. Half an hour on each side. I marinade it in Italian dressing first.

Love your videos. Never though about adding the raw ground meat to the liquid. If you have an air fryer, they take hot dogs to a whole better level. And even quicker than boiling.

Hi Kristen, yummy looking meals, as always🙂! The chicken and dumplings recipe looks so good, I am going to try it tonight as I have all the ingredients at the ready. I didn't realize your father-in-law lived next door. I love that he cooks for your kids once a week. Great bonding time!!

I love this channel, the easy tasty looking recipes and your beautiful accent. If I may make a suggestion, in time stamping the start of each recipe. That would be incredibly helpful. I'm probably going to make all of these😊
