We’ve always used pasta, potatoes, rice etc to make the chili stretch when you’re on a tight budget. Can make 1 big pot of chili to feed my family of 7 for several meals this way.

Some around my part of Ky eat syrup and peanut butter sandwichs… no noodles in ours but my husband's family use noodles. Pimento cheese sandwiches is my family's pick. AWESOME VIDEO. enjoyed so much. Nice seeing the person behind the voice in the intro. Maybe I missed some videos. All I rembered were voice overs.

I know what you mean about thinking about what other people make with a certain something. My chili I do a smidge of cinnamon and a dash of cocoa. Your peanut butter and honey sandwiches with your chili reminded me of my moms bean soup. We always had a peanut butter and butter sandwich with that. Lol. Love your recipes! Thanks for sharing!

Love this video and your orange chicken dinner looked amazing! But I think I know why your chicken tasted a little burnt….Sesame oil is used at the end of cooking because it is very easy to burn. So what we usually do is cook in olive oil then add some sesame oil kind of as a topping and mix it all together shortly before it’s done cooking. So I would of added some sesame oil after the chicken was almost fully cooked then add the orange chicken sauce.

Wow yeah your chili is sooo different! I do chili beans, dark red red kidney beans, pinto beans, tomato sauce, hamburger, and we like the McCormicks seasoning packet or I'll season it myself. And we eat it with cornbread or saltine crackers with sour cream and cheese.

oh I wanted to add that here in northern Indiana our beef went up 3 dollars so your not kidding when you say the meat prices are crazy right now. I try to use more beans, which if you guys didn't know if you buy the bagged beans, you get more! For example one pound of beans =12 cans of beans.
